Chaotic Beginnings

My experience mixing paint spans decades. While working with acrylic tints and latex paints, I began noticing fleeting moments of random beauty—pigments colliding, swirling, separating, and settling into unexpected forms. I started photographing them. Hundreds of images later, something more began to emerge: faces, figures, and fragments of forgotten legends. From that chaos came Dream Carnival—a collection of imagined characters born from real-world paint.

Once I capture the moment, I highlight the details that speak the loudest. Through digital composition and a few subtle adjustments, the image takes on a new life. Some transform into legendary figures; others remain abstract—open to interpretation. Each piece invites a different story.
